Carlos makes form follow function in both tangible and digital media. Creative has always been a major part of his life, career, and he often mixes the two in his adopted hometown of Bend, Oregon since 2001. Having worked with major brands from Lucas Films, and Viacom International, to Harley Davidson, Northface and Nike, Carlos has an understanding of the complete brand experience while understanding that getting there takes time, and the right team to make it happen.
Although schooled in the traditional form of graphic design, Carlos embraces online media as yet another vital form of visual communication to engage a world audience to share creative ideas for both personal and business endeavors. While creative at heart, Carlos also has an uber geek side* which continually draws him toward the seemingly limitless world of online development and its increasing ability to make technology cooler.
When the computer is in sleep mode, Carlos is either with his wife and kids, walking his Basset Hounds, taking photos on his iPhone, drawing, riding his dual sport, and depending on the season, hitting the slopes or hitting the trail. Having a pint of local craft brew and meeting up with friends goes with out saying. Actively engaged in the community Carlos volunteers his time to select organizations that could use his skill-set and has dedicated a site to help non-profits.
Carlos is a graduate of The Pennsylvania University, School of Visual Arts with a major in Graphic design and minor in photography and architecture.
