A true Ruby Hero, Dan is a committed open source contributor and has been tirelessly working on one of the hardest Ruby projects around, DataMapper.
Dan is active in the ruby community having contributed numerous patches to Rails, Merb, Rack and plugins for those popular frameworks. During his free time Dan is currently focused on writing DataMapper 2, a new ruby ORM based on his Veritas project, which is a framework for writing ORMs.

Dan’s experience has also given him the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in internet marketing to develop automated marketing systems using off-the-shelf software and custom built software such as affiliate tracking systems, ecommerce and customer relationship management systems. He has helped small businesses grow to well over $10M yearly in online sales using simple repeatable techniques.
