Rhett Anderson

Over the last 20 years, Rhett has pretty much done it all. A Senior Developer with over 20 years of programming experience in C and Assembly language, 10 years as Sr. Game Designer and product proposal writer, and currently working as an iPhone developer (web and native) and Sr. Web Applications Developer, with deep knowledge of JavaScript…

Rhett has lead development teams from concept to delivery on time, and on budget. He has worked for startups and established companies, such as Novell, Sony and Sierra Online. Rhett is super-skilled in jQuery (and some Dojo) for DOM manipulation and client/server communication both in the major browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome) and in Adobe AIR.

For most of the 90s, Rhett spent his days playing games (and building them, too). His code (assembly and C) was used in two dozen products – covering everything from data compression to palette reduction. He wrote several 3D and artificial intelligence systems, including physics systems for multi-ball pinball and billiard games for Sierra’s casual gaming unit, and self-learning AI systems for action games and fighting games. Committed to the art and science of gaming, he spent some time at Sony, developing for the PSP.

Rhett’s technical skills include Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Adobe AIR, Dojo, PHP, C/C++, Assembly (many, but expert in 6502, 68000) Forth, APL, Modula-2, Pascal.
