CodeBenders has designed and developed a distributed solar inverter monitoring application for PVPowered written in Ruby and utilizing components of Ruby on Rails. The monitoring application was designed to provide near real time updates and historical trending on thousands of solar inverters across the world with a plug and play device and no configuration needed by the customer. CodeBenders’ work was deeply interconnected with the design of ﬁrmware, embedded systems, and web front end interfacing with monitoring application.
